Each month members contribute event suggestions to create a monthly activity calendar.  All of our meetings and all but one of our activities occur during the day, Monday-Friday, when at-home mothers need the support. Your children are welcome and encouraged to attend all activities with the exception of Mom’s Night Out.

Activities Include:

Play Dates

A casual get-together for moms and their kids.  Locations can include a local park, a member’s home for snacks or crafts, the Houston Zoo, an area pool, the Children’s Museum or any other fun place we can think of!

Lunch Bunches

A potluck lunch at a member’s home. Everyone brings a dish to share to the sometimes “themed” lunches.  Moms enjoy chatting with other moms while the kids play in a safe environment.

Mom’s Night Out (MNO)

Mom’s “night on the town!”  Each month, we take a break from the kids and get together for dinner, a movie or other fun “moms only” activity. 

Mom’s Morning Out (MMO)

Enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast with your favorite moms before you start your day.  Kids are welcome to attend MMO.

Playgroups

Playgroups are a great way for moms to get their children together with other children the same age as yours.  It’s a great place to talk to other moms whose children are going through the same developmental stages. 

Monthly Meetings

We have monthly business meetings to discuss chapter activities, service projects and plan upcoming events.  We encourage all members and their children to attend.

Service Projects

Teaching our kids to give back to the community is important.  Each year our chapter participates in service projects such as donating supplies to homeless shelters, supporting our first-responders, giving gently-used toys to needy children and more. 

Sunshine Committee

When any mom in the chapter needs support after a new baby is born, during an illness, or other time of need, members jump in to give support by providing meals, childcare or other help.
